We measure ECD, VCD and ROA
Chiroptical techniques are increasingly used to study the purity and structure of drugs, the way drugs are bind to proteins, as well as pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies. Combined with routine quantum-chemical calculations, these methods are particularly suited for determining the absolute configuration as they are often more sensitive and do not require derivatization nor using additional chemical reagents compared to the current gold standards (NMR and chromatographic techniques). It should be stressed that chiroptical methods are the only direct techniques for determining the absolute configuration and the enantiomeric excess in solutions. We offer expertise in vibrational chiroptical spectroscopies (ECD, VCD and ROA), an ideal conformation-sensitive tool to study the absolute configuration, enantiomeric excess and molecular structure in general.
