On 13th October Kasia’s public doctoral defense took place. Her interdisciplinary work entitled: “Genetic, epigenetic and phenotypic changes in cervical epithelial cells associated with highly oncogenic HPV infection in the process of neoplastic transformation” received a positive reception by Reviewers Prof. Halina Abramczyk (Lodz University of Technology, Poland) and Prof. Beata Biesaga (Center for Translational Research and Molecular Biology of Cancer, Maria Sklodowska-Curie Institute – Oncology Center, Gliwice, Poland) and the audience. Considering the multitude of techniques: spectroscopic, biochemical, and molecular, and the interesting results, the Reviewers applied for the thesis to be distinguished, which was unanimously approved by the Doctoral Committee. Good job Kasia. Congratulations!
